About the Role

Pulse iD is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to help build intelligent fintech solutions serving millions of users globally.

What You Will Do

• Participate in storyboarding, solution design, and grooming sessions to understand requirements and provide feedback
• Analyze business requirements, perform static reviews, and compile QA test checklists for new features and functionalities
• Derive high-level test scenarios and detailed test cases using appropriate test design techniques
• Contribute to building API and UI automation frameworks and maintain automated regression test suites
• Define test approaches, structure test plans, and coordinate test activities
• Execute manual and automated quality assurance test cases to ensure developed functionality satisfies requirements
• Track, record, interpret, and communicate test execution results with relevant stakeholders
• Work closely with the development team to research and resolve issues found during testing
• Create and maintain performance test scripts and conduct performance tests on demand
• Perform non-functional testing including security and accessibility
• Test AI-powered and conversational features by validating response accuracy, data consistency, and integration

What You Need

• At least 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in web application and API automation
• Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, and test design techniques
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based test automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Mocha
• Knowledge of API testing frameworks such as REST Assured and Postman
• Prior experience with Git, CI/CD processes, and Bash scripting
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for ticket and document management
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards by balancing flexibility and timely delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• ISTQB foundation level qualification is an added advantage
• Additional familiarity with performance tools, security testing, cloud providers, and GenAI/LLM tools is a plus
