About the Role

MAS Holdings is seeking a Technical Intern to join their Femography team in Dehiwala to support product development and engineering research initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Assist in developing prototype samples by defining and evaluating bonding processes, machinery, adhesives, and testing parameters
• Conduct testing and analysis to verify the suitability of materials, equipment, methods, and adhesives for various applications
• Support stakeholder, supplier, and customer interactions to streamline product development activities
• Help implement ultrasonic and bonding development standards across trial, test, and bulk manufacturing stages
• Evaluate the production feasibility and workability of ultrasonic and bonding technologies to ensure successful deployment
• Engage in research exploring new materials, technologies, processes, and machinery to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, presentations, reports, and drawings for ongoing projects

What You Need

• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Foundational understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and product development
• Genuine interest in research, testing, process development, and emerging technologies
• Competence in analyzing data, interpreting test results, and formulating practical recommendations
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Capability to draft technical reports, presentations, and comprehensive documentation
• High attention to detail and a keen eagerness to learn within a fast-paced R&D environment

Work Arrangement

• Full-time internship based on-site at Femography in Dehiwala
