About the Role

Take part in our 6-month Engineering Internship designed to simulate our graduate programme at the Colombo – Malabe hub, starting 9 November 2026. You will tackle real-world business challenges and gain hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within LSEG Markets Engineering.

What You Will Do

• Conduct requirement elicitation and handle Change Requests to capture business needs accurately
• Analyze product and solution impacts while building acceptance criteria and reviewing test cases
• Facilitate functional refinement with development team members and maintain backlog visibility
• Adhere to documentation templates and ensure proper traceability of functional and non-functional requirements
• Conduct sprint review 'show and tell' sessions on selected Change Requests

What You Need

• Penultimate- or final-year student graduating between summer 2027 and summer 2028, studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Genuine interest in financial markets, data-centric environments, and how technology powers business
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw conclusions, propose solutions, and think strategically
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills combined with focus, resilience, and adaptability
• Unrestricted right to work in Sri Lanka for the duration of the programme

Work Arrangement

• 6-month internship starting 9 November 2026
• Based at the Colombo – Malabe hub
• Full-time working hours structured around our graduate programme
