About the Role

HireHawk is looking for an experienced Accounting Director to drive the financial strategy and operations for a high-growth omni-channel consumer business in the cosmetics sector. This leadership position involves shaping the financial future, managing financial planning, and overseeing debt financing and tax compliance.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets aligned with business objectives
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow, and internal controls
• Oversee multi-state sales tax compliance, corporate compliance, and annual tax filings
• Evaluate debt financing options and manage relationships with lenders and investors
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team

What You Need

• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role like Director of Accounting, Controller, or CFO within a $10M–$50M revenue company
• Deep e-commerce experience in the consumer goods or CPG sector with inventory accounting expertise
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Familiarity with multi-state sales tax compliance and corporate regulatory requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with an MBA or CPA preferred

Work Arrangement

• Long-term contractor, full-time hours
• Remote work arrangement open to candidates in Sri Lanka
• Compensation of $3,000 to $4,000 per month with additional perk marketplace access
