About the Role

Axiata Digital Labs is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract to support system performance, CI/CD pipelines, and L3 support operations.

What You Will Do

• Adapt to the ADL DevOps culture and execute CI/CD automation, pipeline implementation, and integration tasks under guidance
• Contribute to various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and participate in System Integration Testing
• Monitor system performance and provide L3 support through troubleshooting, workarounds, and temporary bug fixing to ensure SLAs are met
• Engage in DevSecOps practices, follow Agile processes, and maintain accurate technical documentation
• Handle multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills

What You Need

• An engineering degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, Systems/Networking, or a BSc equivalent qualification
• 1+ year(s) of total experience, including 6+ months of experience in IT or engineering
• Good understanding of systems, networking, and software fundamentals, alongside awareness of DevOps, DevSecOps, and Agile principles
• Willingness and ability to learn scripting and programming languages
• Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and excellent team-working and communication abilities

Work Arrangement

• 12-month contract position
• Located in Colombo, Sri Lanka
