About the Role

Sysco LABS is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate for their Site Reliability Engineering Internship Program, designed to evolve support functions into a proactive SRE team.

What You Will Do

• Take ownership of a core engineering domain while embedded within the product and engineering team
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to improve system reliability and performance
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational processes
• Conduct deep root cause analysis using system logs and performance diagnostics
• Contribute to documentation and runbooks to enhance team response times
• Support IT Service Management processes including incident and change management
• Balance time between traditional L2 support and proactive reliability engineering tasks

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• No prior professional experience required
• Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn about software engineering, DevOps, and operations
• Analytical mindset with a strong interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

Work Arrangement

• Internship program based in Sri Lanka
