About the Role

Millennium IT ESP is seeking a fixed-term Cyber Security Engineer to provide technical support for managed security solutions within their 24x7 environment.

What You Will Do

• Provide L2 and L3 technical support for managed cyber security solutions and shift-based operations
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security technology incidents and service requests escalated by customers or the Security Monitoring team
• Support firewalls, endpoint security, WAF, NAC, VPN, and other security technologies in the portfolio
• Perform routine operational activities, health checks, configuration verification, and security policy modifications
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes following ITIL best practices and maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the cyber security domain
• Exposure to security technologies like firewalls, endpoint security, web application security, or security monitoring solutions
• Strong understanding of security principles, controls, and professional certifications such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Imperva, F5, Fortinet, or Cisco Security
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills

Work Arrangement

• Fixed-term contract
• Shift-based operations in a 24x7 environment
• On-site in Colombo
