About the Role

Sysco LABS is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join their team and gain hands-on experience in software testing across diverse applications and services. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop professional skills in Software Quality Engineering and learn automation and testing tools.

What You Will Do

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and scripts based on system requirements and design specifications while supporting functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing.
• Identify and document bugs clearly during testing activities, collaborating with developers and QA team members to ensure timely issue tracking and resolution.
• Participate in ongoing project work and testing activities.
• Support automation efforts by identifying basic scenarios suitable for automation and learning to develop simple scripts under supervision.

What You Need

• Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automation testing.
• A basic understanding of software testing concepts, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and defect management.
• Exposure to or a willingness to learn tools such as Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with programming fundamentals, with knowledge of Java or similar languages being a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
