About the Role

As an L2 Systems Engineer specialising in Microsoft 365 and Azure, you will join the Centralised Services Team to deliver dependable technical support within a managed services environment. You will collaborate with senior leadership, adhering to established workflows while utilizing robust troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities to maintain secure and reliable infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Manage and complete assigned service requests according to established procedures and schedules
• Maintain accurate records, handle work rescheduling, and identify device replacement opportunities
• Monitor backup success, handle patching tasks, and address critical vulnerabilities
• Respond to and escalate alerts to support incident resolution
• Utilise tools like Intune to drive automation and enhance operational consistency
• Communicate clearly with customers and third-party vendors regarding ticket progress and IT best practices
• Apply change control procedures and maintain thorough documentation for all system modifications

What You Need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or managed services
• Advanced administrative expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, and endpoint management tools like Intune
• Strong understanding of security best practices, networking fundamentals, and Conditional Access policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with structured troubleshooting abilities
