About the Role

Oceans is seeking a Consulting Operations Associate to act as an independent generalist and execution bridge between executive leadership and active client consulting engagements. In this high-leverage role, you will combine executive administration, consulting coordination, and practical AI-enabled execution to ensure operational momentum.

What You Will Do

• Manage executive inboxes, prioritize incoming communication, and organize daily scheduling and calendars.
• Track executive commitments and follow-ups to ensure crucial priorities are executed without delay.
• Maintain operational visibility into active client consulting engagements, tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Attend selected vendor, partner, or software demonstration meetings as a representative of leadership.
• Conduct structured research on business, technology, and consulting topics and review AI-assisted written materials.
• Build simple AI-enabled tools or lightweight applications to solve recurring operational problems.
• Coordinate information flow across Operations Managers, Project Managers, and consulting leads to surface bottlenecks.

What You Need

• Strong client-facing experience in a professional services, consulting, or fast-paced client-service environment.
• Proven experience supporting executives or managing client account coordination.
• Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, Vercel, HubSpot, Fathom, and modern AI-assisted research and development tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong editorial and writing judgment, and experience auditing AI-generated outputs.
• Highly curious, direct communicator, proactive problem solver, and dedicated to exceptional follow-through.

Work Arrangement

• Remote role with a split shift requiring maximum overlap with US Eastern Time (ET).
• In-person training program required during your first 3.5 weeks.
