About the Role

Royal Institute is seeking a motivated and experienced Visiting Lecturer to join their academic team and conduct YLE programmes for young learners.

What You Will Do

• Conduct engaging and interactive Cambridge & National YLE classes for children
• Develop students’ Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through assessments and feedback
• Prepare students for Cambridge & National Young Learners English examinations
• Maintain a positive, safe, and student-friendly classroom environment
• Support extracurricular and language development activities when required

What You Need

• Diploma or Degree in English, Education, TESL, ELT, or a related field
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience as an added advantage
• Experience in teaching young learners preferred
• Knowledge of the Cambridge YLE curriculum is an added advantage
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
• Passionate, creative, and child-friendly personality

Work Arrangement

• Part-time visiting lecturer position based in Gampaha
